March 06 2nd Life's Self Imposed "Canine Elite" vs. A Truly Open Forum In the virtual world, "2nd Life", I founded, and now co-own an alternative group called "VKC Dog Owners Open Chat Group". This group is designed to provide a forum for virtual dog owners to freely chat about anything they wish, pertaining to dogs. It also allows the totally cost free acquisition
of dog toys, houses, beds, water and food dishes, to all who wish to
have them. All of the goods that I support and represent are available
to anyone. These items are also all either fully copiable, or
transferable, so that they can be shared or passed along to others. In
2nd Life, there is a group of VKC dog folks who have different goals. They
are the "Turing Isle Staff", who believe that my plan is
contrary to fair commerce. I feel that the dogs
and supplies should available even to those not financially well off, who save hard and long to buy a VKC dog. I recommend to
all to go to "Dogland Dog Park", where you will find free supplies( superior in every way, and designed specifically for VKC dogs), and always find free classes, and help. Dogland Park, in Rhoda is a huge dog wonderland, with great areas to explore! All dog lovers are made welcome. In the "VKC Dog Owner's Open Chat Group", as well, there are no restrictions(as long as it's about virtual dogs), and members won't be told to stop chatting about dogs, as they are told constantly in the old, now outmoded "VKC Group"chat, by the stuffy members(I just learned that the older "VKC Group" is only open by select invitation by the "Turing Isle Staff",

are interested in owning a virtual dog, and getting the maximum support
and training without the tight restrictions stifling your sl dreams... contact me, and I will steer you in the right direction! UPDATE: January 10, 2009- It was just brought to my attention that the VKC Group, now has an enrollment fee, of L$100! Don't forget membership in the larger VKC Open Chat Group is still open, and absolutely free and you never have to pay for fun, events or the great attractions at Dogland, where no area is ever restricted! |
